Photography
With my photography I enjoy using light and shadow to create striking imagery. Either through my portraiture or abstract compositions, I take inspiration from classic cinema and editorial photography to a evoke a specific mood.
Striking, Dramatic, Refined
Hot Summer Night
I used Adobe After Effects to animate type to the spoken word intro from the 1977 Meat Loaf song "You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth (Hot Summer Night)," by songwriter Jim Steinman and actress Marcia McClain. I wanted to experiment with digital distortion and go for a VHS aesthetic that is reminiscent of horror movies from the '70s and '80s.
Dramatic, Bold, Distorted
Self PRomotional Poster
I designed a self-promotional poster that’s compatible with the augmented reality app; Layar. The viewer can download this app and scan the image, through the camera on their smart phone or tablet, to see the interactive elements.
Interactive, Expressive, Environmental
Sunset BOulevard
I used Adobe After Effects to animate type to dialogue from the 1950 film “Sunset Boulevard.” I wanted to go for a film noir aesthetic and give effect of an old movie projector.
Cinematic, Moody, Atmospheric
